Working with London Design Works is very much a team effort and we do our best to make you feel part of the process. We use tools to keep you informed of every part of the build and actively encourage our clients to contribute and review development stages. We don't just keep you informed online, we also schedule meetings with your project manager to talk about how we are doing in person. We operate an open office environment so if your in the neighbourhood feel free to drop in and say hi.
Basecamp
"Basecamp" our project management system, is accessible over the web and allows you to monitor our progress continuously. Each person involved in the website production has a login to the dedicated area for your project - this is where we upload messages and content for review and provide regular status updates.
The first meeting
One of the very first things we like to do is get you in to meet the team. It's a great ice breaker and gives us all the chance to understand each others role's on the project.
Core site setup
It's important to get the foundations in place for your site. Setting up admin access for relevant participants to track, monitor and contribute to the site build involves you from the very beginning.
Site theme
It wont be long before we start designing your website. We sit down and discuss user journeys, site layout and design aesthetics. Once we are all happy the site starts to take form online.
Content work flow & revisions
As the site starts to take shape we start suggesting if available that content be added. This gives us the opportunity to tune and refine and offers the client ahead start on publishing content.
Release cycles
To effectively and efficiently build a website we release updates in scheduled revision work cycles.
Testing
In order to meet the needs of the Users online and the different devices in use we do alot of testing as we go along and at the end of a project build.
Training
For anyone new to Drupal or wishing to brush up on things they may of forgotten we do a training session at the end of a site build.
