The problem

Ivy Lettings offers hand-picked properties in key London locations, many of them available as short lets. Its Drupal site worked, but it looked tired, and booking was harder than it needed to be.

The business goal was simple: more bookings. That meant helping visitors find the right property quickly and then making the booking step obvious.

What we had to solve

01

A lot of properties

Visitors needed to narrow a large list down to the few that suit them in a few simple steps.

02

Location first

In London, where comes before almost everything else, so search had to start with the map.

03

Availability at a glance

People needed to see straight away whether a property is free on their dates.

04

Keep the booking system

The existing booking system had to stay, integrated into the new site rather than replaced.

What we built

A London street of painted townhouses

A refreshed design with search tuned around how people choose a short let: a clear, graphical location map first, then more detailed criteria in a few simple steps.

Each property has a Drupal booking calendar connected to Ivy's existing booking system, so visitors can see availability instantly and book with confidence.

Map-led search

Start with location, then refine in a few steps.

Booking calendar

Availability for every property, readable at a glance.

Booking system integration

The existing system kept and connected to the new site.

The outcome

Bookings jumped after the new site launched. Visitors narrow the list to the right property faster, and can see at once whether it's free on their dates.
