The problem
Founded in 1993, the APM Group is a global accreditation, certification and examination body. Its business books arm sells titles to professionals around the world, and its existing eCommerce platform was holding the business back.
APMG wanted a fully responsive store on a well-known CMS that could grow with the range and cope with very high traffic. The timeframe was tight, and every existing product had to be on the new site when it launched.
What we had to solve
A tight timeline
The new store had to be designed, built and taking orders within three months.
The whole catalogue, on day one
Every product from the old platform had to be imported and ready, not re-entered by hand.
Built for busy periods
The store had to stay quick under very high traffic.
The right tone for business readers
A full-featured store presented in a clean, understated way that suits professional books.
What we built

A responsive store on Drupal Commerce with everything a modern bookshop needs, designed to feel clean and efficient rather than busy. The existing catalogue was imported from the old platform, so the site launched fully stocked.
Drupal Commerce gives APMG a flexible base to add to as the business grows, and the speed comes from how the store is built, not only from how it looks.
Drupal Commerce
A full-featured store on a platform that scales with the range.
Catalogue import
Every existing product brought across from the old platform.
Responsive design
A clean buying journey on desktop, tablet and phone.
Room to grow
New features added since launch, on the same foundations.

The outcome
The store was live within three months, fully stocked, with orders coming in from launch. APMG has kept extending it since, and came back to us to build its Cyber Essentials certification platform.
